About Us
Our Beginning
In 2017 we had just moved to Washington from San Diego, California. We were looking for a place to settle down for a quiet last tour in the Navy and hopefully start a small farm. Our real estate agent was asked to find a family outgoing and ready to be on camera....
What's in a Name
With Crescent Harbor only a couple of miles away and our desire to get "some acres" of land when we moved, it was no wonder that the HGTV "Island Life" crew named our property "Harbor Acres" and we decided it should stick.

Dreams
We have always dreamed of living a simple, low impact life where we can teach our daughters the benefits of hard work, a love of their environment and an equality with all creatures. We have finally began to realize that dream!
